Mango Day celebration

The students of Navsrijan celebrated ‘Mango Day’ on Friday, July 19, 2019 along with the playgroup students.
Cherishing the mango season and acknowledging the colour yellow, Mango Day was celebrated with zeal.

The day started with a general conversation about the king of fruits i.e. Mango, followed by rhymes and a singing session which the students enjoyed thoroughly. The teachers also presented a skit where they encouraged sharing and use of cloth bags.

The participation of our Navsrijan students together with playgroup students is a delight at almost every celebration. Together they learn the importance of humility and sharing. The day concluded with all the students sharing and eating sliced mangoes among themselves.
