Raksha Bandhan Celebrations
Raksha Bandhan is one of the most beautiful festivals celebrating the bond between siblings. Sisters tie rakhis to their dear brothers who in turn vow to protect them from harm.
At Navsrijan, we too celebrated this beautiful bond with great zeal and enthusiasm; even though it was a virtual celebration.
To mark the occasion, a Rakhi Making competition for LKG to Grade V students was organized. Students were encouraged to make Rakhis with the materials available at home and present it beautifully along with the other auspicious items like rice, sindoor , sweets etc. Some students also made cards for their brothers and thus showed their gratitude to them.
Thanks to the combined efforts of teachers and students, the school not only succeeded in catalyzing the feeling of love, care and affection but also taught students about our tradition.
