The former Indian President and recipient of Bharat Ratna award , Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, once said

“If a country is to be corruption free and become a nation of beautiful minds ,I strongly feel there are three key societal members who can make a difference .They are the father ,the mother and the teachers.”   We as teachers take immense pride in our profession and feel even more proud when we see our little stars becoming the best versions of themselves.

Every year , on teacher’s day , the students make sure that the day is made memorable .The day , this year was different. In these times of crisis – we could not be physically present with our dear students yet these little ones left  no stone unturned in making the day as special as it could be .Our eyes were filled with tears of happiness and our hearts were filled with joy  when our students sent loving messages, videos ,hand made cards on the class groups . It was heartening to see how our students made beautiful cards and wrote artistic notes,with whatever little resources were available to them , filled with gratitude and sent them across. Keeping aside all the hurdles , these bright souls yet again proved that impossible is just a word.

We want our students to know that even though we aren’t physically together at the moment, they are still very much loved and remembered.
