The Annual Prize Day of NavSrijan was held on 15th September 2014. NavSrijan is an educational initiative by Seth M.R. Jaipuria School to provide an opportunity to the underprivileged children to discover their potential and chisel their personalities for a better and brighter future.
On this occasion the Chief Guest was Mr. Praveen Tyagi, Managing Director of Pace IITian’s. He motivated the children to excel in their lives. The Guest of Honour was Mr. D.S. Chauhan, General Manager, Food Corporation of India, UP. He told the children the importance of hard work in life.
Sixty seven meritorious children were awarded for their outstanding performance in their academics. Eight children were awarded for their excellence in various co-curricular activities like Art, Sports, Literary events. Ragini Devi of class 4 was declared ‘All Rounder of the Year’. This award was given to her for her excellence in academics as well as in co-curricular activities.
At the end of the programme Principal Mrs. Anju Wal presented the Vote of Thanks.
