Gandhi Jayanti Celebration at Navsrijan

October 2, happens to be the birth anniversary of two of India’s greatest leaders, Shri Mahatma Gandhi and Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri, who were instrumental in India’s freedom struggle. Both their lives are exemplary and a source of motivation for students.

Students of Navsrijan celebrated Gandhi Jayanti on 2nd October,2020. Online competitions were held for students across LKG to class 5. Children also made beautiful sketches of Shri Gandhiji and Shri Lal Bahadur Shashtri ji.

The spotlight of the event was the special assembly conducted by the students, where they recited self composed poems, narrated incidents from Shri Gandhiji’s life and presented the famous speeches of Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri ji and Shri Gandhi ji.

It was remarkable to see how the students connected the past and the current times where each presentation ended with a learning or a moral.

It was indeed a learning experience for one and all.
