The 78th Independence Day was celebrated with great pride and enthusiasm at our school, bringing together the entire Navsrijan School to honor the spirit of freedom. The day began with inspiring speeches by our students, who passionately echoed the teachings of our freedom fighters.

Fiza from Grade 8 delivered a compelling speech on the wisdom of Shri Bal Gangadhar Tilak, while Priya Verma of Grade 6 shared Gandhiji’s timeless messages. Jaya from Grade 8 and Sheetal Katiyar of Grade 7 touched hearts with their self-composed Hindi poems, which beautifully expressed their deep sense of patriotism.

In addition to celebrating Independence Day, the school also marked the birth anniversary of Sri Aurobindo. As a tribute, Navsrijan students recited verses from Savitri (Book 1, Canto 2), and Kartik Singh from Grade 9 offered a thoughtful reflection on Sri Aurobindo’s teachings, drawing inspiration from his profound insights.

The event concluded with a renewed sense of national pride and a collective commitment to building a nation that truly embodies the essence of “Saare Jahaan se Achcha.”
