Krishana Janmashtami

Lord Krishna, one of the most powerful and enigmatic reincarnation of Lord Vishnu is a revered and loved personality by many. It is no surprise then that his birthday too is celebrated with a great zeal throughout the world.

To seek the blessings of Lord Krishna, Janmashtami was celebrated virtually at Navsrijan on 10th August, 2020 with mirth and joy.

While this religious importance is not lost, this day signifies a lot more to modern India, it signifies excitement, euphoria and a joyous spirit of enthrallment. To celebrate the extraordinary bond between children and the Almighty, Navsrijan family took the opportunity to both jubilate and learn with the young minds. Children from grade LKG to 5 made stupefying drawings and craft items.

The celebration that followed was truly entertaining as well as educating. Not only did the students and teachers revel in the celebrations of the Lord’s birthday, but they also learnt the important lesson of sharing in each other’s joy and happiness.
