The National Hydrology Project, Uttar Pradesh – Surface Water, in collaboration with ISRO, organized an inspiring event on 12th August 2024, to celebrate National Space Day. Themed “Touching Lives While Touching the Moon: India’s Space Saga,” the event was a vibrant celebration of India’s remarkable achievements in space, igniting creativity and scientific curiosity among students.

Young artists from Grades 3, 4, and 5 displayed their creativity in an art competition, producing imaginative and innovative works that captured the essence of space exploration. Middle school students from Grades 6, 7, and 8 contributed with visually striking posters and collages, offering a creative portrayal of various aspects of India’s space journey.

Senior students from Grades 9 and 10 engaged in thought-provoking essay writing, reflecting on India’s space history, major milestones, and the exciting future that lies ahead. Overall, students had an enlightening day full of creativity, where they delved into the infinite possibilities of our cosmos.
