On 23rd September 2025, Grade 5 students visited Lucknow Nagar Nigam as part of the Responsible and Conscious Citizenship Project. The initiative aims to nurture students into responsible, conscious and proactive members of society.

During the visit, the young learners became curious investigators, engaging in interactive sessions with officials and staff. They asked thoughtful questions about sewage management, waste segregation, disposal processes and the challenges faced in keeping the city clean and organised. The officials also educated the students on the importance of segregating dry and wet waste at the source, explaining how this simple practice can greatly help the overall waste management system function more efficiently.

The students were also encouraged to spread this awareness within their families and neighbourhoods, reinforcing the value of responsible citizenship. This experience not only enhanced their understanding of how civic systems operate but also highlighted the role each citizen can play in maintaining a clean and well-managed city.
