Students of Grade 5 undertook the Responsible and Conscious Citizenship Project, an initiative to make them responsible, conscious and proactive citizens. As part of this, they visited the canteen of Indus Hospital on 17th September 2025.
The aim of the visit was to create awareness about health, hygiene and sustainability. The students observed the canteen’s functioning and interacted with the staff, manager and visitors. They learnt about food safety, cleanliness and the importance of avoiding plastic. The staff explained how eco-friendly alternatives are used instead of plastic.
This experience gave the students valuable insights into sustainable practices. Later students penned down valuable suggestions in their project work.
